Domestic violence affects all aspects of one’s life and, in some cases, may disrupt current living situations. Independence House provides support and assistance with finding emergency shelter through SafeLink (a statewide domestic violence hotline accessible 24/7 by individuals or advocates seeking resources and shelter information).
Independence House provides emergency lodging to clients in imminent danger. This service is limited to clients meeting specific critera and is only available Friday 5 PM – Monday 8 AM.
