The United Way’s Day of Caring on September 13th matched teams of employees from companies throughout Cape Cod with non-profit organizations. These employees, individually volunteering their time away from their normal work day, experience team building and an oppporunity to take on projects that the non-profit might normally not have time or resources to tackle.
Thanks to UPS’s team (Mike Burrell, Bill Sullivan, Lisa Haczynski, Charles Law, Dave Murdock and Bobby Nunes), Independence House has a freshly new painted handicap entry ramp.
